51Thereforeaconsider2the members of your earthly body as dead to b3immorality, impurity, passion, evildesire, and greed, whichcamounts to idolatry.
For it is because of thesethings that 4the wrath of God will comedupon the sons of disobedience,
and 5in them you alsooncewalked, when you were livingein them.
But now you also, 6put them allaside : 7anger, wrath, malice, slander, and 8abusivespeech from your mouth.
9f9Do not lie to oneanother, since you 10laidaside the oldgself with its evil practices,
and have 11put on the newself who is being h12renewed to a trueknowledge13according to the image of the One who 14created him-
a renewal in which15there is no distinction between Greek and Jew, 16circumcised and uncircumcised, i17barbarian, Scythian, 18slave and freeman, but 19Christ is all, and in all.
12So, as those who have been 20chosen of God, holy and beloved, 21put on a 22heart of compassion, kindness, 23humility, gentleness and j24patience ;
1325bearing with oneanother, and 26forgivingeachother, whoeverhas a complaintagainstanyone ; 27just as the Lordforgave you, soalso should you.
14Beyondallthesethings put on love, which is k28the perfectbond of 29unity.
Let 30the peace of Christlrule in your hearts, to whichmindeed you were called in 31onebody ; and nbe thankful.
