1Therefore aconsider 2the members of your earthly body as dead to b3immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which camounts to idolatry.

For it is because of these things that 4the wrath of God will come dupon the sons of disobedience,
7
and 5in them you also once walked, when you were living ein them.
8
But now you also, 6put them all aside : 7anger, wrath, malice, slander, and 8abusive speech from your mouth.
9
f9Do not lie to one another, since you 10laid aside the old gself with its evil practices,
10
and have 11put on the new self who is being h12renewed to a true knowledge 13according to the image of the One who 14created him-

a renewal in which 15there is no distinction between Greek and Jew, 16circumcised and uncircumcised, i17barbarian, Scythian, 18slave and freeman, but 19Christ is all, and in all.

So, as those who have been 20chosen of God, holy and beloved, 21put on a 22heart of compassion, kindness, 23humility, gentleness and j24patience ;
13
25bearing with one another, and 26forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone ; 27just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you.
14
Beyond all these things put on love, which is k28the perfect bond of 29unity.
15
Let 30the peace of Christ lrule in your hearts, to which mindeed you were called in 31one body ; and nbe thankful.
