So Moseswent and spokethesewords to allIsrael.
And he said to them, "I am 1a hundred and twentyyearsoldtoday; 2I am nolongerable to come and go, and the LORD has said to me, '3You shall not crossthisJordan.'
"4It is the LORD your God who will crossahead of you; He will destroythesenationsbefore you, and you shall dispossess them. 5Joshua is the one who will crossahead of you, just as the LORD has spoken.
"The LORD will do to them just as He did to Sihon and Og, the kings of the Amorites, and to their land, when He destroyed them.
"6The LORD will deliver them up before you, and you shall do to them according to all the commandmentswhich I have commanded you.
"7Be strong and courageous, 8do not be afraid or tremble at them, for 9the LORD your God is the one who goes with you. 10He will not fail you or forsake you."
Then Mosescalled to Joshua and said to him in the sight of allIsrael, "11Be strong and courageous, for you shall go with thispeople into the landwhich the LORD has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you shall give it to them as an inheritance.
"12The LORD is the one who goesahead of you; He will be with you. 13He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed."

12"Assemble the people, the men and the women and children and athe alienwho is in your btown, so that they may hear and 20learn and fear the LORD your God, and be careful to observeall the words of thislaw.
"Their children, who have not known, will hear and learn to fear the LORD your God, as long as you live on the landcwhich you are about to cross the Jordan to dpossess."
