14 who is a1given as a pledge of 2our inheritance, with a view to the 3redemption of 4God's own possession, 5to the praise of His glory. 15 For this reason I too, 6having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and byour love for 7all the csaints, 16 8do not cease giving thanks for you, 9while making mention of you in my prayers ; 17 that the 10God of our Lord Jesus Christ, 11the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of 12wisdom and of 13revelation in the dknowledge of Him. 18 I pray that 14the eyes of your heart emay be enlightened, so that you will know what is the 15hope of His 16calling, what are 17the riches of the glory of 18His inheritance in 19the fsaints, 19 and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. 20These are in accordance with the working of the 21strength of His might 20 which He brought about in Christ, when He 22raised Him from the dead and 23seated Him at His right hand in 24the heavenly places, 21 far above 25all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every 26name that is named, not only in 27this age but also in the one to come. 22 And He 28put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as 29head over all things to the church, 23 which is His 30body, the 31fullness of Him who 32fills 33all in all.
