remember that you were at that timeseparate from Christ, a1excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to 2the covenants of promise, having3nohope and 4withoutGod in the world.
But now in 5ChristJesus you who6formerly were 7faroffbhave 8beenbroughtnearc9by the blood of Christ.
For He Himself is 10our peace, 11who madeboth groups into one and brokedown the dbarrier of the dividingwall,
15eby 12abolishing in His flesh the enmity, which is 13the Law of commandments contained in ordinances, so that in Himself He might f14make the two into 15onenewman, thus establishing16peace,
and might 17reconcile them both in 18onebody to Godthrough the cross, gby it having 19put to death the enmity.
AND 20HE CAME AND PREACHED21PEACE TO YOU WHO WERE 22FARAWAY, AND PEACE TO THOSE WHO WERE 23NEAR;
for through Him we bothhave24our access in 25oneSpirit to 26the Father.
19Sothen you are nolonger27strangers and aliens, but you are 28fellowcitizens with the hsaints, and are of 29God'shousehold,
having been 30built on 31the foundation of 32the apostles and prophets, 33ChristJesusHimselfbeing the 34corner stone,
2135in whom the wholebuilding, being fittedtogether, is growing into 36a holyitemple in the Lord,
in whom you also are being 37builttogether into a 38dwelling of God in the Spirit.
