12 remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, a1excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to 2the covenants of promise, having 3no hope and 4without God in the world. 13 But now in 5Christ Jesus you who 6formerly were 7far off bhave 8been brought near c9by the blood of Christ. 14 For He Himself is 10our peace, 11who made both groups into one and broke down the dbarrier of the dividing wall, 15 eby 12abolishing in His flesh the enmity, which is 13the Law of commandments contained in ordinances, so that in Himself He might f14make the two into 15one new man, thus establishing 16peace, 16 and might 17reconcile them both in 18one body to God through the cross, gby it having 19put to death the enmity. 17 AND 20HE CAME AND PREACHED 21PEACE TO YOU WHO WERE 22FAR AWAY, AND PEACE TO THOSE WHO WERE 23NEAR; 18 for through Him we both have 24our access in 25one Spirit to 26the Father. 19 So then you are no longer 27strangers and aliens, but you are 28fellow citizens with the hsaints, and are of 29God's household, 20 having been 30built on 31the foundation of 32the apostles and prophets, 33Christ Jesus Himself being the 34corner stone, 21 35in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into 36a holy itemple in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are being 37built together into a 38dwelling of God in the Spirit.
