View In My Bible
3 Among them we too all 1formerly lived in 2the lusts of our flesh, aindulging the desires of the flesh and of the bmind, and were 3by nature 4children of wrath, 5even as the rest. 4 But God, being 6rich in mercy, because of 7His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were 8dead cin our transgressions, made us alive together dwith Christ (9by grace you have been saved ), 6 and 10raised us up with Him, and 11seated us with Him in 12the heavenly places in 13Christ Jesus, 7 so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing 14riches of His grace in 15kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For 16by grace you have been saved 17through faith; and ethat not of yourselves, it is 18the gift of God; 9 19not as a result of works, so that 20no one may boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, 21created in 22Christ Jesus for 23good works, which God 24prepared beforehand so that we would 25walk in them. 11 Therefore remember that 26formerly 27you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called "28 Uncircumcision" by the so-called "29Circumcision," which is performed in the flesh by human hands - 12 remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, f30excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to 31the covenants of promise, having 32no hope and 33without God in the world. 13 But now in 34Christ Jesus you who 35formerly were 36far off ghave 37been brought near h38by the blood of Christ.
