3Among them we tooall1formerlylived in 2the lusts of our flesh, aindulging the desires of the flesh and of the bmind, and were 3by nature4children of wrath, 5even as the rest.
But God, being6rich in mercy, because of 7His greatlove with which He loved us,
5even when we were 8deadcin our transgressions, made us alivetogetherdwith Christ (9by grace you have beensaved ),
and 10raised us up with Him, and 11seated us with Him in 12the heavenly places in 13ChristJesus,
7so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing14riches of His grace in 15kindnesstoward us in ChristJesus.
For 16by grace you have been saved17throughfaith; and ethat not of yourselves, it is 18the gift of God;
919not as a result of works, so that 20noone may boast.
For we are His workmanship, 21created in 22ChristJesus for 23goodworks, whichGod24preparedbeforehandso that we would 25walk in them.
11Thereforeremember that 26formerly27you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called "28Uncircumcision" by the so-called "29Circumcision," which is performed in the flesh by humanhands -
remember that you were at that timeseparate from Christ, f30excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to 31the covenants of promise, having32nohope and 33withoutGod in the world.
But now in 34ChristJesus you who35formerly were 36faroffghave 37beenbroughtnearh38by the blood of Christ.
