Thus Mosesdid; according to all that the LORD had commanded him, so he did.
Now 13in the firstmonthhof the secondyear, on the first day of the month, the itabernacle was erected.
18Moseserected the tabernacle and jlaid its ksockets, and set up its boards, and linserted its bars and erected its pillars.
He spread the tentover the tabernacle and put the covering of the tentmon top of it, just as the LORD had commandedMoses.
Then he took14the testimony and put it into the ark, and nattached the poles to the ark, and put the omercyseatpon top of the ark.
He brought the ark into the tabernacle, and 15set up a veil for the screen, and screenedoff the ark of the testimony, just as the LORD had commandedMoses.
Then he 16put the table in the tent of meeting on the northside of the tabernacle, outside the veil.
He set the arrangement of 17bread in order on it before the LORD, just as the LORD had commandedMoses.
Then he placed the lampstand in the tent of meeting, opposite the table, on the southside of the tabernacle.
He 18lighted the lampsbefore the LORD, just as the LORD had commandedMoses.
Then he 19placed the goldaltar in the tent of meeting in front of the veil;
and he 20burnedfragrantincense on it, just as the LORD had commandedMoses.
Then he set up the qveil for the doorway of the tabernacle.
He 21set the altar of burntoffering before the doorway of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, and 22offered on it the burntoffering and the mealoffering, just as the LORD had commandedMoses.
He placed the laverbetween the tent of meeting and the altar and putwater in it for washing.
3123From it Moses and Aaron and his sonswashed their hands and their feet.
When they entered the tent of meeting, and when they approached the altar, they washed, just as the LORD had commandedMoses.
He 24erected the courtallaround the rtabernacle and the altar, and shung up the veil for the gateway of the court. Thus Mosesfinished the work.
3425Then the cloudcovered the tent of meeting, and the 26glory of the LORDfilled the tabernacle.
35Moses27was not able to enter the tent of meetingbecause the cloud had settled on it, and the glory of the LORDfilled the tabernacle.
Throughout all their journeys28whenever the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the sons of Israel would set out;
but 29if the cloud was not taken up, then they did not set out until the day when it was taken up.
For throughout all their journeys, 30the cloud of the LORD was on the tabernacle by day, and there was fire in it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel.
