"1You will bring them and 2plant them in 3the mountain of Your inheritance, 4The place, O LORD, which You have made for Your dwelling, 5The sanctuary, O Lord, which Your hands have established.

7For the horses of Pharaoh with his chariots and his horsemenwent into the sea, and the LORDbroughtback the waters of the sea on them, but the sons of Israelwalked on 8dryland through the midst of the sea.

9Miriam the prophetess, Aaron'ssister, took the 10timbrel in her hand, and all the womenwent out after her with timbrels and with 11dancing.

Miriamanswered them, "12Sing to the LORD, for He is highlyexalted; The horse and his rider He has hurled into the sea."
The LORD Provides Water
2213Then MosesledIsrael from the Red*Sea, and they went out into 14the wilderness of 15Shur; and they wentthreedays in the wilderness and foundnowater.

When they came to 16Marah, they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter; therefore* it was named*Marah.

So the people17grumbled at Moses, saying, "What shall we drink?"

Then he 18cried out to the LORD, and the LORDshowed him 19a tree; and he threw it into the waters, and the watersbecamesweet. There He 20made for them a statute and regulation, and there He 21tested them.

And He said, "22If you will giveearnestheed to the voice of the LORD your God, and do what is right in His sight, and giveear23to His commandments, and keepall His statutes, 24I will putnone* of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I, 25the LORD, am your healer."

Then they came to 26Elimwhere there were twelve*springs of water and seventydatepalms, and they campedtherebeside the waters.
