When they measured it with an omer, 1he who had gathered much had noexcess, and he who had gathered little had nolack; everymangatheredaas much as he should eat.

But they did not listen to Moses, and someleft part of it untilmorning, and it bredworms and becamefoul; and Moses was angry with them.
They gathered it morning by morning, everymanbas much as he should eat; but when the sungrewhot, it would melt.
223Now on the sixthday they gatheredtwice as muchbread, twoomers for eachone. When all the 4leaders of the congregationcame and toldMoses,
then he said to them, "This is what the LORDcmeant: 5Tomorrow is a sabbathobservance, a holysabbath to the LORD. Bakewhat you will bake and boilwhat you will boil, and 6all that is leftoverdputaside to be keptuntilmorning."
So they eput it asideuntilmorning, as Moses had ordered, and 7it did not becomefoulnor was there any worm in it.
25Mosessaid, "Eat it today, for today is a sabbath to the LORD; today you will not find it in the field.
"8Sixdays you shall gather it, but on the seventhday, the sabbath, there will be fnone."
It came about on the seventhday that some of the peoplewent out to gather, but they foundnone.
