an 1oath before the LORD shall be made by the two of them athat he has not blaidhands on his neighbor'sproperty ; and its owner shall accept it, and he shall not makerestitution.

"But if it is actuallystolen from him, he shall makerestitution to its owner.
13"If it is all torn to pieces, let him bring it as evidence ; he shall not makerestitution for what has been torn to pieces.
14"If a mancborrows anything from his neighbor, and it is injuredordies while its owner is not with it, he shall makefullrestitution.
15"If its owner is with it, he shall not makerestitution ; if it is hired, it came for its hire.

"2If a manseduces a virginwho is not engaged, and lies with her, he must pay a dowry for her to be his wife.
17"If her fatherabsolutelyrefuses to give her to him, he shall dpaymoney equal to the 3dowry for virgins.

"You shall not allow a 4sorceress to live.

"5Whoeverlies with an animal shall surely be put to death.

"6He who sacrifices to eany god, otherthan to the LORDalone, shall be futterlydestroyed.
