Moreover, the word of the LORDcame to me saying,
2"Son of man, set your faceagainst1MountSeir, and prophesyagainst it

and say to it, 'Thussays the LordaGOD, "Behold, I am against you, MountSeir, And I will 2stretch out My handagainst you And make you a 3desolation and a waste.

"I will 4laywaste your cities And you will become a desolation. Then you will know that I am the LORD.
5"Because you have hadeverlasting5enmity and have bdelivered the sons of Israel to the power of the sword at the time of their calamity, at the time of the c6punishment of the end,
6therefore as I live," declares the LordGOD, "I will dgive you over to 7bloodshed, and bloodshed will pursue you; since you have not hatedbloodshed, therefore bloodshed will pursue you.

"I will makeMountSeir a waste and a desolation and I will cutoff from it the one who passesthrough and returns.

"I will 8fill its mountains with its slain ; on your hills and in your valleys and in all your ravines those slain by the sword will efall.

"I will make you an everlasting9desolation and your cities will not be inhabited. Then you will know that I am the LORD.
10"Because you have 10said, 'These twonations and these twolands will be mine, and we will possessfthem,' although the 11LORD was there,
11therefore as I live," declares the LordGOD, "I will deal with you 12according to your anger and according to your envywhich you showedbecause of your hatred against them; so I will 13make Myself known among them when I judge you.

"Then you will knowgthat I, the LORD, have heardall your revilingswhich you have spokenagainst the mountains of Israelsaying, 'They are laiddesolate ; they are 14given to us for food.'

"And you have h15spokenarrogantlyagainst Me and have multiplied your wordsagainst Me; 16I have heard it."
14'Thussays the LordGOD, "As all the 17earthrejoices, I will make you a desolation.

"As you 18rejoiced over the inheritance of the house of Israelbecause it was desolate, 19so I will do to you. You will be a 20desolation, O MountSeir, and allEdom, all of it. Then they will know that I am the LORD."'
