"And 1you, son of man, prophesyagainstGog and say, 'Thussays the LordaGOD, "Behold, I am against you, O Gog, bprince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal ;
2
and I will turn you around, drive you on, take you up from the remotestparts of the north and bring you against the mountains of Israel.
3
"I will 2strike your bow from your lefthand and dashdown your arrows from your righthand.
4
"You will 3fall on the mountains of Israel, you and all your troops and the peopleswho are with you; I will give you as 4food to everyckind of predatorybird and beast of the field.
5
"You will fall on the dopenfield ; for it is I who have spoken," declares the LordGOD.
6
"And I will send5fire upon Magog and those who inhabit the 6coastlands in safety ; and they will know that I am the LORD.
7
"My 7holyname I will makeknown in the midst of My peopleIsrael ; and I will not let My holyname be 8profanedanymore. And the 9nations will know that I am the LORD, the 10HolyOne in Israel.
8"Behold, it is coming and it shall be done," declares the LordGOD. "That is the day of which I have spoken.
9
"Then those who inhabit the cities of Israel will 11go out and make12fires with the weapons and burn them, both shields and bucklers, bows and arrows, warclubs and spears, and for sevenyears they will makefires of them.
10
"They will not takewood from the field or gatherfirewood from the forests, for they will makefires with the weapons ; and they will take the spoil of those who despoiled them and seize the 13plunder of those who plundered them," declares the LordGOD.
11
"On that day I will giveGog a burialgroundthere in Israel, the valley of those who pass by east of the sea, and it will blockoff those who would pass by. So they will buryGogthere with all his ehorde, and they will call it the valley of fHamon-gog.
12
"For sevenmonths the house of Israel will be burying them in order to 14cleanse the land.
13
"Even all the people of the land will bury them; and it will be gto their 15renown on the day that I 16glorify Myself," declares the LordGOD.
14
"They will setapartmen who will constantlypass through the land, 17burying those who were passingthrough, even those left on the surface of the ground, in order to cleanse it. At the end of sevenmonths they will make a search.
15
"As those who pass through the landpassthrough and anyone sees a man'sbone, then he will hset up a marker by it until the buriers have buried it in the valley of iHamon-gog.
16
"And even the name of the city will be Hamonah. So they will cleanse the land."'
17
"As for you, son of man, thussays the LordGOD, 'Speak to everyjkind of 18bird and to every19beast of the field, "Assemble and come, gather from everyside to My sacrificewhich I am going to 20sacrifice for you, as a greatsacrifice on the mountains of Israel, that you may eatflesh and drinkblood.
18
"You will 21eat the flesh of mightymen and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, as though they were 22rams, lambs, goats and 23bulls, all of them fatlings of 24Bashan.
19
"So you will eatfat until you are glutted, and drinkblood until you are drunk, from My sacrificewhich I have sacrificed for you.
20
"You will be glutted at My table with 25horses and charioteers, with mightymen and all the men of war," declares the LordGOD.
21
"And I will set My 26glory among the nations ; and all the nations will see My judgmentwhich I have executed and My handwhich I have laid on them.
22
"And the house of Israel will 27know that I am the LORD their God from that dayonward.
23
"The nations will know that the house of Israelwent into exile for their 28iniquitybecause they actedtreacherously against Me, and I 29hid My face from them; so I gave them into the hand of their adversaries, and all of them fell by the sword.
24
"30According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions I dealt with them, and I hid My face from them.""'
25Thereforethussays the LordGOD, "Now I will k31restore the fortunes of Jacob and havemercy on the whole32house of Israel ; and I will be 33jealous for My holyname.
26
"They will l34forget their disgrace and all their treacherywhich they mperpetrated against Me, when they 35livesecurely on their own land with 36noone to make them afraid.
27
"When I 37bring them back from the peoples and gather them from the lands of their enemies, then I shall be 38sanctifiednthrough them in the sight of the manynations.
28
"Then they will know that I am the LORD their God because I made them go into exileamong the nations, and then gathered them again to their own land ; and I will leavenone of them thereanylonger.
29
"I will not hide My face from them anylonger, for I will have 39poured out My Spirit on the house of Israel," declares the LordGOD.
