4
Then the 1glory of the LORDwent up from the cherub to the threshold of the temple, and the 2temple was filled with the cloud and the court was filled with the 3brightness of the glory of the LORD.
5
Moreover, the sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard as far as the outercourt, like the 4voice of GodAlmighty when He speaks.
6
It came about when He commanded the manclothed in linen, saying, "Takefire from between the whirlingwheels, from between the cherubim," he entered and stoodbeside a wheel.
7
Then the cherubstretched out his hand from between the cherubim to the firewhich was between the cherubim, took some and put it into the hands of the one clothed in linen, who took it and went out.
8
The cherubimappeared to have the form of a man'shandunder their wings.
9
Then I looked, and behold, 5fourwheelsbeside the cherubim, onewheelbesideeachcherub; and the appearance of the wheels was like the gleam of a 6Tarshishstone.
10
As for their appearance, all four of them had the samelikeness, as if one wheel were within another wheel.
11
When they moved, they went7in any of their fourdirectionswithoutturning as they went; but they followed* in the directionwhich they faced*, withoutturning as they went.
12
Their 8wholebody, their backs, their hands, their wings and the 9wheels were full of eyesallaround, the wheels belonging to all four of them.
13
The wheels were called in my hearing, the whirlingwheels.
14
And 10eachone had fourfaces. The firstface was the face of a cherub, the secondface was the face of a man, the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.
