6nor to manypeoples of aunintelligiblespeech or difficultlanguage, whosewords you cannotunderstand. bBut I have sent you to them cwho should listen to you;
yet the house of Israel will not be willing to listen to you, since they are 1not willing to listen to Me. Surely the wholehouse of Israel is dstubborn and obstinate .
8"Behold, I have made your face as hard as their faces and your forehead as hard as their foreheads.
"Like eemeryharderthanflint I have made your forehead. Do not be afraid of them or be dismayedbefore them, though they are a rebellioushouse."
Moreover, He said to me, "Son of man, take into your heartall My 2wordswhich I will speak to you and listenfclosely.
"gGo to the exiles, to the sons of your people, and speak to them and tell them, whether they listenorhnot, 'Thussays the LordiGOD.' "
Then the 3Spiritlifted me up, and I heard a great4rumblingsoundbehind me, "Blessed be the glory of the LORDjin His place."
And I heard the sound of the wings of the livingbeingstouchingoneanother and the sound of the 5wheelsbeside them, even a greatrumblingsound.
So the Spiritlifted me up and took me away; and I wentembittered in the rage of my spirit, and 6the hand of the LORD was strong on me.
Then I came to the exiles who livedbeside the riverChebar at Tel-abib, and I satthere7sevendayswhere they were living, causingconsternationamong them.
