11
For 1I would have you know, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is 2not according to man.
12
For 3I neitherreceived it from man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a 4revelation of JesusChrist.
13
For you have heard of 5my formermanner of life in Judaism, how I 6used to persecute7the church of Godbeyondmeasure and 8tried to destroy it;
14
and I 9was advancing in Judaismbeyondmany of my contemporariesamong my acountrymen, beingmoreextremelyzealous for my 10ancestraltraditions.
15
But when God, who had set me apart even from my mother'swomb and 11called me through His grace, was pleased16
to reveal His Son in me so that I might 12preach Him among the Gentiles, 13I did not immediatelyconsult with b14flesh and blood,
1715nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostlesbefore me; but I wentaway to Arabia, and returnedoncemore to 16Damascus.
18Then17threeyearslater I went up 18to Jerusalem to cbecomeacquainted with 19Cephas, and stayed with him fifteendays.
19
But I did not seeanyother of the apostlesexceptd20James, the Lord'sbrother.
20
(Now in what I am writing to you, eI assure you 21beforeGod that I am not lying.)
21Then22I went into the regions of 23Syria and 24Cilicia.
22
I was still unknown by fsight to 25the churches of Judea which were 26in Christ ;
23
but only, they kept hearing, "He who oncepersecuted us is nowpreaching27the faithwhich he once28tried to destroy."
24
And they 29were glorifyingGodgbecause of me.
