Now aSarahlived one hundred and twenty-sevenyears; these were the years of the life of Sarah.
2Sarahdied in 1Kiriath-arba (that is, Hebron ) in the land of Canaan; and Abrahambwent in to mourn for Sarah and to weep for her.
Then Abrahamrose from before his dead, and spoke to the 2sons of Heth, saying,
"I am 3a stranger and a sojourneramong you; 4give me ca 5burialsiteamong you that I may bury my dead out of my sight.
The sons of HethansweredAbraham, saying to him,
6"Hear us, my lord, you are a d6mightyprinceamong us; bury your dead in the choicest of our graves; none of us will refuse you his grave for burying your dead."
So Abrahamrose and bowed to the people of the land, the sons of Heth.
