Hebrews 9:24-28 (New American Standard)

For Christ 1did not enter a holy place made with hands, a mere copy of 2the true one, but into 3heaven itself, now 4to appear in the presence of God for us;
25
nor was it that He would offer Himself often, as 5the high priest enters 6the holy place 7year by year with blood that is not his own.

Otherwise, He would have needed to suffer often since 8the foundation of the world ; but now 9once at 10the consummation of the ages He has been 11manifested to put away sin a12by the sacrifice of Himself.

And inasmuch as 13it is bappointed for men to die once and after this 14comes judgment,
28
so Christ also, having been 15offered once to 16bear the sins of many, will appear 17a second time for 18salvation 19without reference to sin, to those who 20eagerly await Him.
