and 1make straight paths for your feet, so that the limb which is lame may not be put out of joint, but rather 2be healed.

3Pursue peace with all men, and the 4sanctification without which no one will 5see the Lord.

See to it that no one 6comes short of the grace of God ; that no 7root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many be 8defiled ;

that there be no 9immoral or 10godless person like Esau, 11who sold his own birthright for a single meal.
