Make sure that your character is 1free from the love of money, 2being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, "3I WILL NEVER*DESERT YOU, NOR WILL I EVER*FORSAKE YOU,"

so that we confidentlysay, "4THE LORD IS MY HELPER, I WILL NOT BE AFRAID. WHAT WILL MANDO TO ME?"

Remember5those who led you, whospoke6the word of God to you; and considering the result of their conduct, 7imitate their faith.

9Do not be carriedaway by varied and strangeteachings; for it is good for the heart to 10be strengthened by grace, not by 11foods, 12throughwhichthose who were sooccupied were not benefited.

We have an altar13from whichthose14who serve the tabernaclehavenoright to eat.

For 15the bodies of thoseanimalswhoseblood is brought into the holyplace by the highpriest as an offering for sin, are burnedoutside the camp.

So, let us go out to Him outside the camp, 19bearing His reproach.

For here20we do not have a lastingcity, but we are seeking21the city which is to come.

1522Through Him then, let us continually*offer up a 23sacrifice of praise to God, that is, 24the fruit of lips that givethanks to His name.
