For both He who 1sanctifies and those who 2are asanctified are all3from one Father; for whichreason He is not ashamed to call them 4brethren,
12saying, "5I WILL PROCLAIM YOUR NAME TO MY BRETHREN, IN THE MIDST OF THE CONGREGATION I WILL SING YOUR PRAISE."
And again, "6I WILL PUT MY TRUST IN HIM." And again, "7BEHOLD, I AND THE CHILDRENWHOMGOD HAS GIVEN ME."
14Therefore, since the childrenshare in b8flesh and blood, 9He Himselflikewisealsopartook of the same, that 10throughdeath He might renderpowerless11him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,
and might free those who through 12fear of death were subject to slaveryall their lives.
For assuredly He does not cgivehelp to angels, but He giveshelp to the ddescendant of Abraham.
17Therefore, He ehad13to be madelike His brethren in allthings, so that He might 14become a merciful and faithful15highpriest in 16things pertaining to God, to 17makepropitiation for the sins of the people.
For since He Himself was 18tempted in that which He has suffered, He is able to come to the aid of those who are tempted.
