12Who has 1measured the awaters in the hollow of His hand, And markedoff the heavens by the bspan, And ccalculated the dust of the earth by the measure, And weighed the mountains in a balance And the hills in a pair of scales?
132Who has ddirected the Spirit of the LORD, Or as His 3counselor has informed Him?
144With whom did He consult and who 5gave Him understanding? And who taught Him in the path of justice and taught Him knowledge And informed Him of the way of understanding?
15Behold, the 6nations are like a drop from a bucket, And are regarded as a speck of 7dust on the scales; Behold, He lifts up the eislands like finedust.
Even Lebanon is not enough to burn, Nor its 8beastsenough for a burntoffering.
179All the nations are as nothingbefore Him, They are regarded by Him as lessthannothing and fmeaningless.
1810To whom then will you likenGod? Or whatlikeness will you compare with Him?
As for the g11idol, a craftsmancasts it, A goldsmith12plates it with gold, And a silversmith fashions chains of silver.
He who is too impoverished for such an offeringSelects a 13tree that does not rot; He seeks out for himself a skillfulcraftsman To hprepareian idol that 14will not totter.
2115Do you not know? Have you not heard? Has it not been declared to you from the beginning? Have you not understood16from the foundations of the earth?
It is He who jsitsabove the k17circle of the earth, And its inhabitants are like 18grasshoppers, Who 19stretches out the heavens like a 20curtain And spreads them out like a 21tent to dwell in.
He it is who reduces22rulers to nothing, Who 23makes the judges of the earthlmeaningless.
24mScarcely have they been planted, nScarcely have they been sown, oScarcely has their stocktakenroot in the earth, But He merelyblows on them, and they wither, And the 24stormcarries them away like stubble.
"25To whom then will you liken Me That I would be his equal?" says the HolyOne.
2626Lift up your eyes on high And see27who has createdthese stars, The 28One who leadsforth their host by number, He calls them all by name; Because of the 29greatness of His might and the pstrength of His power, 30Not one of them is missing.
2731Why do you say, O Jacob, and assert, O Israel, "My way is 32hidden from the LORD, And the 33justice due me qescapes the notice of 34my God "?
2835Do you not know? Have you not heard? The 36EverlastingGod, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not becomeweary or tired. His understanding is 37inscrutable .
He givesstrength to the 38weary, And to him who lacksmight He 39increasespower.
Though 40youthsgrowweary and tired, And vigorous41youngmenstumblebadly,
Yet those who rwait for the LORD Will 42gainnewstrength; They will s43mount up with twings like eagles, They will run and not gettired, They will walk and not becomeweary.
