"Your abuildershurry ; Your 1destroyers and devastators Will depart from you.

"2Lift up your eyes and lookaround ; 3All of them gather together, 4they come to you. 5As I live," declares the LORD, "You will surely6put on all of them as bjewels and bind them on as a bride.

"For 7your waste and desolate places and your destroyedland - Surelynow you will be 8toocramped for the inhabitants, And those who 9swallowed you will be far away.

"The 10children of cwhom you were bereaved will yetsay in your ears, 'The place is too cramped for me; Makeroom for me that I may live here.'

"Then you will 11say in your heart, 'Who has begottenthese for me, Since I have beenbereaved of my children And am 12barren, an 13exile and a wanderer ? And who has rearedthese ? Behold, I was 14leftalone ; d15From where did these come?' "
22Thussays the LordeGOD, "Behold, I will lift up My hand to the nations And set up My 16standard to the peoples ; And they will 17bring your sons in their bosom, And your daughters will be carried on their shoulders.

"18Kings will be your guardians, And their princesses your nurses. They will 19bowdown to you with their faces to the earth And 20lick the dust of your feet ; And you will 21know that I am the LORD ; Those whohopefully22wait for Me will 23not be put to shame.

"24Can the prey be taken from the mightyman, Or the captives of fa tyrant be rescued ?"
25Surely, thussays the LORD, "Even the 25captives of the mightyman will be taken away, And the prey of the tyrant will be rescued ; For I will contend with the onewhocontends with you, And I will 26save your sons.

"I will feed your 27oppressors with their 28own flesh, And they will becomedrunk with their own blood as with sweetwine ; And 29allflesh will know that I, the LORD, am your 30Savior And your 31Redeemer, the MightyOne of Jacob."
