2Why is Your apparelred, And Your garments like the one who 1treads in the winepress?
"2I have trodden the winetroughalone, And from the peoplesthere was noman with Me. I also 3trod them in My anger And 4trampled them in My wrath; And 5their alifeblood is sprinkled on My garments, And I bstainedall My raiment.
"For the 6day of vengeance was in My heart, And My year of redemption has come.
"I looked, and there was 7noone to help, And I was astonished and there was noone to uphold; So My 8own armbroughtsalvation to Me, And My wrathupheld Me.
"I 9troddown the peoples in My anger And made them 10drunk in My wrath, And I cpoured out their lifeblood on the earth."
I shall makemention of the 11lovingkindnesses of the LORD, the praises of the LORD, According to all that the LORD has granted us, And the great12goodness toward the house of Israel, Which He has granted them according to His 13compassion And according to the abundance of His lovingkindnesses.
For He said, "Surely, they are 14My people, Sons who will not dealfalsely." So He became their 15Savior.
In all their afflictiond16He was afflicted, And the 17angel of His presencesaved them; In His 18love and in His mercy He 19redeemed them, And He 20lifted them and carried them all the days of old.
But they 21rebelled And grieved His 22HolySpirit; Therefore He turned Himself to become their enemy, He fought against them.
Then 23His peopleremembered the days of old, of Moses. Where is 24He who brought them up out of the sea with the eshepherds of His flock? Where is He who 25put His HolySpirit in the midst of fthem,
Who caused His 26gloriousarm to go at the righthand of Moses, Who 27divided the watersbefore them to make for Himself an everlastingname,
