5Listen, 1my belovedbrethren: did not 2Godchoose the pooraof thisworld to be 3rich in faith and 4heirs of the kingdomwhich He 5promised to those who love Him?
But you have dishonored the poorman. Is it not the rich who oppress you and bpersonally6drag you into ccourt?
77Do they not blaspheme the fairnamedby which you have been called?
8If, however, you 8are fulfilling the eroyallawaccording to the Scripture, "9YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF," you are doingwell.
But if you 10showpartiality, you are committingsin and are convicted by the flaw as transgressors.
For whoeverkeeps the wholeglaw and yet11stumbles in one point, he has become12guilty of all.
For He who said, "13DO NOT COMMITADULTERY," alsosaid, "14DO NOT COMMITMURDER." Nowif you do not commitadultery, but do commitmurder, you have become a transgressor of the hlaw.
12Sospeak and soact as those who are to be judged by 15the law of liberty.
For 16judgment will be merciless to one who has shownnomercy; mercyitriumphsoverjudgment.
