18 "Thus says the LORD, 'Behold, I will 1restore the afortunes of the tents of Jacob And 2have compassion on his dwelling places ; And the 3city will be rebuilt on its ruin, And the 4palace will stand on its rightful place. 19 'From them will proceed 5thanksgiving And the voice of those who b6celebrate ; And I will 7multiply them and they will not be diminished ; I will also 8honor them and they will not be insignificant. 20 'cTheir children also will be as formerly, And dtheir congregation shall be 9established before Me; And I will punish all etheir oppressors. 21 'fTheir 10leader shall be one of them, And gtheir ruler shall come forth from htheir midst ; And I will 11bring him near and he shall approach Me; For iwho would dare to risk his life to 12approach Me?' declares the LORD. 22 'You shall be 13My people, And I will be your God.' " 23 Behold, the 14tempest of the LORD !
