27"1Now My soul has become troubled; and what shall I say, '2Father, save Me from 3thishour '? But for this purpose I came to thishour.

"4Father, glorify Your name."Then a 5voicecame out of heaven: "I have bothglorified it, and will glorify it again."

So the crowd of people who stood by and heard it were saying that it had thundered*; others were saying, "6An angel has spoken to Him."

Jesusanswered and said, "7Thisvoice has not come for My sake, but for your sakes.

"8Nowjudgment is upon thisworld; now9the ruler of thisworld will be cast out.

"And I, if I 10am lifted up from the earth, will 11drawallmen to Myself."

But He was sayingthis12to indicate the kind of death by which He was to die.

The crowdthenanswered Him, "We have heard out of 13the Law that 14the Christ is to remainforever; and how can You say, 'The 15Son of Manmust be 16lifted up'? Who is this17Son of Man?"

SoJesussaid to them, "18For a littlewhilelonger19the Light is among you. 20Walkwhile you have the Light, so that darkness will not overtake you; he who 21walks in the darkness does not knowwhere he goes.

"While you have the Light, 22believe in the Light, so that you may become23sons of Light."ThesethingsJesusspoke, and He wentaway and 24hid Himself from them.

But though He had performedsomanysignsbefore them, yet they were not believing in Him.
