31Meanwhile the disciples were urging Him, saying, "1Rabbi, eat."

But He said to them, "I havefood to eat that you do not knowabout."33So the 2disciples were saying to oneanother, "Noonebrought Him anything to eat, did he?"
34Jesussaid to them, "My food is to 3do the will of Him who sent Me and to 4accomplish His work.35"Do you not say, 'There are yetfourmonths, and then comes the harvest '? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look on the fields, that they are white5for harvest.36"Already he who reaps is receiving6wages and is gathering7fruit for 8lifeeternal ; so that he who sows and he who reaps may rejoicetogether.37"For in this case the saying is true, '9Onesows and anotherreaps.'38"I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored ; others have labored and you have entered into their labor."

From 10that citymany of the Samaritansbelieved in Him because of the word of the woman who testified, "11He told me all the things that I have done."
40Sowhen the Samaritanscame to Jesus, they were asking Him to stay with them; and He stayedtheretwodays.
41Manymorebelievedbecause of His word ;

and they were saying to the woman, "It is nolongerbecause of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves and know that thisOne is indeed12the Savior of the world."
43After13the twodays He wentforth from there into Galilee.

For JesusHimselftestified that 14a prophethasnohonor in his owncountry.
45Sowhen He came to Galilee, the Galileansreceived Him, 15having seenall the things that He did in Jerusalem at the feast ; for they themselvesalsowent to the feast.
46Therefore He cameagain to 16Cana of Galilee17where He had made the waterwine. And there was a royalofficialwhoseson was sick at 18Capernaum.

When he heard that Jesushadcome19out of Judea into Galilee, he went to Him and was imploring Him to comedown and heal his son ; for he was at the point of death.
48SoJesussaid to him, "Unless you people seea20signs and 21wonders, you simply will not believe."49
The royalofficialsaid to Him, "bSir, comedownbefore my childdies."
50Jesussaid to him, "22Go ; your sonlives." The manbelieved the word that Jesusspoke to him and started off.

As he was nowgoingdown, his slavesmet him, saying that his cson was living.
52So he inquired of them the hourwhen he began to getbetter. Then they said to him, "Yesterday at the dseventhhour the feverleft him."
53So the fatherknew that it was at that hour in whichJesussaid to him, "Your sonlives "; and he himselfbelieved and 23his wholehousehold.
54This is again a 24secondesign that Jesusperformed when He had 25come out of Judea into Galilee.
