"Go up to the feastyourselves; I do not go up to thisfeastbecause1My time has not yetfullycome."
9
Having saidthesethings to them, He stayed in Galilee.
10
But when His 2brothers had gone up to the feast, then He Himselfalsowent up, not publicly, but as if, in secret.
11
3So the Jews4were seeking Him at the feast and were saying, "Where is He?"
12
There was muchgrumblingamong the crowdsconcerning Him; 5some were saying, "He is a goodman "; others were saying, "No, on the contrary, He leads the peopleastray."
13
Yetnoone was speakingopenly of Him for 6fear of the Jews.
14
But when it was now the midst of the feastJesuswent up into the temple, and began to 7teach.
15
8The Jewsthen were astonished, saying, "How has thisman9becomelearned, having never been educated?"
16
SoJesusanswered them and said, "10My teaching is not Mine, but His who sent Me.
17
"11Ifanyone is willing to do His will, he will know of the teaching, whether it is of Godor whether I speak from Myself.
18
"He who speaks from himself12seeks his ownglory; but He who is seeking the glory of the One who sent Him, He is true, and there is nounrighteousness in Him.
