John 8:6-16

They were saying this, 1testing Him, 2so that they might have grounds for accusing Him. But Jesus stooped down and with His finger wrote on the ground.
But when they persisted in asking Him, 3He straightened up, and said to them, "4He who is without sin among you, let him be the 5first to throw a stone at her."
Again He stooped down and wrote on the ground.
When they heard it, they began to go out one by one, beginning with the older ones, and He was left alone, and the woman, where she was, in the center of the court.
6Straightening up, Jesus said to her, "Woman, where are they? Did no one condemn you?"
She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said, "7I do not condemn you, either. Go. From now on 8sin no more."]

Jesus Is the Light of the World

Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, "9I am the Light of the world; 10he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life."
So the Pharisees said to Him, "11You are testifying about Yourself; Your testimony is not true."
Jesus answered and said to them, "12Even if I testify about Myself, My testimony is true, for I know 13where I came from and where I am going; but 14you do not know where I come from or where I am going.
"15You judge according to the flesh; 16I am not judging anyone.
"But even 17if I do judge, My judgment is true; for I am not alone in it, but I and the Father who sent Me.
