The LORDspoke again to Moses, saying,
2"Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, '1The LORD'Sappointedtimeswhich you shall 2proclaim as holyconvocations -My appointedtimes are these :

'3For sixdayswork may be done, but on the seventhday there is a sabbath of completerest, a holyconvocation. You shall not doanywork ; it is a sabbath to the LORD in all your dwellings.
4'These are the 4appointedtimes of the LORD, holyconvocationswhich you shall proclaim at the timesappointed for them.

'5In the firstmonth, on the fourteenth day of the monthaat twilight is the LORD'SPassover.

'Then on the fifteenthday of the samemonth there is the 6Feast of UnleavenedBread to the LORD ; for sevendays you shall eatunleavenedbread.

'On the firstday you shall have a holyconvocation ; you shall 7not doanylaboriouswork.
8
'But for sevendays you shall present an offering by fire to the LORD. On the seventhday is a holyconvocation ; you shall not doanylaboriouswork.' "

Then the LORDspoke to Moses, saying,
10"Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, 'When you enter the landwhich I am going to give to you and 8reap its harvest, then you shall bring in the sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest to the priest.

'He shall wave the sheafbefore the LORD for you to be accepted ; on the dayafter the sabbath the priest shall wave it.
12
'Now on the day when you wave the sheaf, you shall offer a malelamb one yearoldwithoutdefect for a burntoffering to the LORD.
13
'Its 9grain offering shall then be two-tenths of an ephah of fineflourmixed with oil, an offering by fire to the LORD for a soothingaroma, with its drinkoffering, a fourth of a bhin of wine.
14'Untilthissameday, until you have brought in the offering of your God, 10you shall eatneitherbreadnorroastedgrainnornewgrowth. It is to be a perpetualstatute throughout your generations in all your dwellingplaces.

'11You shall also count for yourselves from the dayafter the sabbath, from the day when you brought in the sheaf of the waveoffering ; there shall be sevencompletesabbaths.

'You shall countfiftydays to the dayafter the seventhsabbath ; then you shall present a 12new grain offering to the LORD.
17
'You shall bring in from your dwellingplacestwo loaves of bread for a waveoffering, made of two-tenths of an cephah; they shall be of a fineflour, baked13with leaven as firstfruits to the LORD.
18'Along with the bread you shall presentseven one yearoldmalelambswithoutdefect, and a bull of the herd and tworams ; they are to be a burntoffering to the LORD, with their grain offering and their drinkofferings, an offering by fire of a soothingaroma to the LORD.

'You shall also offer14onemalegoat for a sinoffering and twomalelambs one yearold for a sacrifice of peaceofferings.

'The priest shall then wave them with the bread of the firstfruits for a waveoffering with twolambsbefore the LORD ; they are to be holy to the LORD for the priest.

'On thissameday you shall 15make a proclamation as well; you are to have a holyconvocation. You shall donolaborious16work. It is to be a perpetualstatute in all your dwellingplaces throughout your generations.
22
'17When you reap the harvest of your land, moreover, you shall not reap to the very corners of your fieldnorgather the gleaning of your harvest ; you are to leave them for the needy and the alien. I am the LORD your God.' "

Again the LORDspoke to Moses, saying,
24"Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, '18In the seventhmonth on the first of the month you shall have a drest, a 19reminder by blowing of trumpets, a holyconvocation.
25
'You shall 20not doanylaboriouswork, but you shall present an offering by fire to the LORD.' "

The LORDspoke to Moses, saying,

"On exactly21the tenth day of thisseventhmonth is 22the day of atonement ; it shall be a holyconvocation for you, and you shall humble your souls and present an offering by fire to the LORD.
28
"You shall not doanywork on thissameday, for it is a 23day of atonement, 24to makeatonement on your behalfbefore the LORD your God.
29"If there is anyepersonwho will not humble himself on thissameday, 25he shall be cutoff from his people.
30
"As for anypersonwhodoesanywork on thissameday, that person I will destroy from among his people.
31
"You shall donowork at all. It is to be a perpetualstatute throughout your generations in all your dwellingplaces.
32
"It is to be a sabbath of completerest to you, and you shall humble your souls ; on the ninth of the month at evening, from eveninguntilevening you shall keep your sabbath."

Again the LORDspoke to Moses, saying,
34"Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, 'On 26the fifteenth of thisseventhmonth is the 27Feast of Booths for sevendays to the LORD.
35
'On the firstday is a holyconvocation ; you shall do28nolaboriouswork of any kind.
36
'29For sevendays you shall present an offering by fire to the LORD. On 30the eighthday you shall have a holyconvocation and present an offering by fire to the LORD ; it is an assembly. You shall donolaboriouswork.
37'These are 31the appointedtimes of the LORDwhich you shall proclaim as holyconvocations, to presentofferings by fire to the LORD-burntofferings and grain offerings, sacrifices and drinkofferings, 32each day'smatter on its own day -
38besides those of the sabbaths of the LORD, and besides your gifts and besidesall your fvotive and freewillofferings, which you give to the LORD.

'On exactly the fifteenthday of the seventhmonth, 33when you have gathered in the crops of the land, you shall celebrate the feast of the LORD for sevendays, with a grest on the firstday and a hrest on the eighthday.
40
'Now on the firstday you shall take for yourselves the ifoliage of beautifultrees, palmbranches and boughs of leafytrees and willows of the brook, and you shall rejoicebefore the LORD your God for sevendays.
41
'You shall thus celebrate it as a feast to the LORD for sevendays in the year. It shall be a perpetualstatute throughout your generations ; you shall celebrate it in the seventhmonth.
42
'You shall jlive34in booths for sevendays ; all the native-born in Israel shall klive in booths,
43so that 35your generations may know that I had the sons of Israellive in booths when I brought them out from the land of Egypt. I am the LORD your God.' "
44
So Mosesdeclared to the sons of Israel36the appointedtimes of the LORD.
