Then the LORDspoke to Moses, saying,
2"Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, 'If a personsins1unintentionally in any of the athingswhich the LORD has 2commanded not to be done, and commitsany of them,
33if the anointedpriestsins so as to bringguilt on the people, then let him offer to the LORD a bbullwithoutdefect as a sinoffering for the sin he has ccommitted.

'He shall bring the bull to the doorway of the tent of meetingbefore the LORD, and 4he shall lay his hand on the head of the bull and slay the bullbefore the LORD.

'Then the 5anointedpriest is to takesome of the blood of the bull and bring it to the tent of meeting,
6
and the priest shall dip his finger in the blood and sprinklesome of the bloodseventimesbefore the LORD, in front of 6the veil of the sanctuary.
7
'The priest shall also putsome of the blood on the horns of 7the altar of fragrantincensewhich is before the LORD in the tent of meeting ; and all the blood of the bull he shall pour out at the base of the altar of burntofferingwhich is at the doorway of the tent of meeting.
8
'8He shall remove from it all the fat of the bull of the sinoffering : the fat that covers the entrails, and all the fatwhich is on the entrails,
9
and the twokidneys with the fat that is on them, which is on the loins, and the dlobe of the liver, which he shall remove9with the kidneys10
(just as it is removed from the ox of the sacrifice of peaceofferings ), and the priest is to offer them up in smoke on the altar of burntoffering.

'But 10the hide of the bull and all its flesh with its head and its legs and its entrails and its refuse,
12ethat is, all the rest of the bull, he is to bring out to 11a cleanplaceoutside the campwhere the fashes are poured out, and burn it on wood with fire ; where the gashes are poured out it shall be burned.
13
'12Now if the wholecongregation of Israelcommitserror and the matterhescapes the notice of the assembly, and they commitany of the ithingswhich the LORD has commanded not to be done, and they becomeguilty ;
1413when the sinjwhich they have kcommittedbecomesknown, then the assembly shall offer14a lbull of the herd for a sinoffering and bring it before the tent of meeting.

'Then 15the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands on the head of the bullbefore the LORD, and the bull shall be slain16before the LORD.
16
'Then the anointedpriest is to bringsome of the blood of the bull to the tent of meeting ;
17
and 17the priest shall dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle it seventimesbefore the LORD, in front of the veil.
18
'He shall putsome of the blood on the horns of 18the altarwhich is before the LORDmin the tent of meeting ; and all the blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar of burntofferingwhich is at the doorway of the tent of meeting.
19
'19He shall removeall its fat from it and offer it up in smoke on the altar.
20
'He shall also do with the bulljust as he did with 20the bull of the sinoffering ; thus he shall do with it. So 21the priest shall makeatonement for them, and they will be forgiven.

'Then he is to bring out the bull to a place outside the camp and burn it as he burned the firstbull ; it is 22the sinoffering for the assembly.
22'When23a leader24sins and unintentionallydoesanyone of all the nthingswhich the LORD his God has commanded not to be done, and he becomesguilty,
23o25if his sinpwhich he has committed is madeknown to him, he shall bring for his offering a q26goat , 27a malewithoutdefect.

'He shall lay his hand on the head of the malegoat and slay it in the placewhererthey slay the burntofferingbefore the LORD ; it is a sinoffering.
25
'Then the priest is to takesome of the blood of the sinoffering with his finger and put it on 28the horns of the altar of burntoffering ; and the rest of its blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar of burntoffering.
26
'29All its fat he shall offer up in smoke on the altar as in the case of the fat of the sacrifice of peaceofferings. Thus 30the priest shall makeatonement for him in regard to his sin, and he will be forgiven.
27
'Now ifsanyone of tthe commonpeoplesins31unintentionally in doingany of the uthingswhich the LORD has commanded not to be done, and becomesguilty,
28v32if his sinwhich he has wcommitted is madeknown to him, then he shall bring for his offering a x33goat, a 34femalewithoutdefect, for his sinwhich he has ycommitted.
29
'35He shall lay his hand on the head of the sinoffering and 36slay the sinoffering at the place of the burntoffering.
30
'The priest shall takesome of its blood with his finger and put it on the horns of 37the altar of burntoffering ; and 38all the rest of its blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar.
31
'39Then he shall removeall its fat, just as the fat was removed from the sacrifice of peaceofferings ; and the priest shall offer it up in smoke on the altar for 40a soothingaroma to the LORD. Thus the priest shall makeatonement for him, zand he will be forgiven.
32
'But if he brings41a lamb as his offering for a sinoffering, he shall bring it, a femalewithoutdefect.
33
'42He shall lay his hand on the head of the sinoffering and slay it for a sinoffering43in the placewhereaathey slay the burntoffering.
34
'The priest is to takesome of the blood of the sinoffering with his finger and put it on the horns of 44the altar of burntoffering, and 45all the rest of its blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar.
35
'Then he shall remove46all its fat, just as the fat of the lamb is removed from the sacrifice of the peaceofferings, and the priest shall offer them up in smoke on the altar, on the offerings by fire to the LORD. Thus 47the priest shall makeatonement for him in regard to his sinwhich he has bbcommitted, and he will be forgiven.
