141When the hour had come, He reclined at the table, and 2the apostles with Him.

And He said to them, "I have earnestlydesired to eatthisPassover with you before I suffer;

for I say to you, I shall never*againeat it 3until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God."

4And when He had taken a cup and 5giventhanks, He said, "Takethis and share it amongyourselves;
18
for 6I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine from now on until the kingdom of Godcomes."

And when He had taken some bread and 7giventhanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, "This is My body which is given for you; dothis in remembrance of Me."

And in the sameway He took the cupafter they had eaten, saying, "Thiscup which is 8poured out for you is the 9newcovenant in My blood.

"10But behold, the hand of the one betraying Me is with Mine on the table.
