Then He 1opened their aminds to understand the Scriptures,

and He said to them, "2Thus it is written, that the bChrist would suffer and 3rise again from the dead the third day,

and that 4repentance cfor forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed din His name to 5all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.
