And He 1laid His hands on her; and immediately she was madeerectagain and began 2glorifyingGod.
But 3the synagogueofficial, indignantbecauseJesus4had healed on the Sabbath, began saying to the crowd in response, "5There are sixdays in whichworkshould be done; socomeduring them and gethealed, and not on the Sabbathday."
But 6the Lordanswered him and said, "You hypocrites, 7does not each of you on the Sabbathuntie his oxor his donkey from the stall and lead him away to water him?16"And thiswoman, 8a daughter of Abraham as she is, whom9Satan has bound for eighteenlongyears, should she not have been released from thisbond on the Sabbathday?"17
As He saidthis, all His opponents were being humiliated; and 10the entirecrowd was rejoicingoverall the gloriousthingsbeingdone by Him.
18So11He was saying, "12What is the kingdom of Godlike, and to what shall I compare it?19"It is like a mustardseed, which a mantook and threw into his owngarden; and it grew and became a tree, and 13THE BIRDS OF THE aAIRNESTED IN ITS BRANCHES."20
And again He said, "14To what shall I compare the kingdom of God?21"15It is likeleaven, which a womantook and hid in 16threebpecks of flouruntil it was allleavened."
And He was passingthrough from one city and village to another, teaching, and 17proceeding on His way to Jerusalem.
And someonesaid to Him, "Lord, are there just a few who are being saved?" And He said to them,
