401And a lepercame to Jesus, beseeching Him and 2falling on his kneesbefore Him, and saying, "If You are willing, You canmake me clean."
41Moved with compassion, Jesus stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, "I amwilling ; be cleansed."42Immediately the leprosyleft him and he was cleansed.

And He sternlywarned him and immediatelysent him away,

and He said to him, "3See that you saynothing to anyone ; but 4go, showyourself to the priest and 5offer for your cleansingwhatMosescommanded, as a testimony to them."45
But he went out and began to 6proclaim it freely and to 7spread the newsaround, to such an extent that aJesus couldnolongerpubliclyenter a city, but bstayed out in unpopulatedareas ; and 8they were coming to Him from everywhere.
