Matthew 26:28-38

for 1this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for 2many for forgiveness of sins.
"But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father's kingdom."
3After singing a hymn, they went out to 4the Mount of Olives.
Then Jesus said to them, "You will all 5fall away because of Me this night, for it is written, '6I WILL STRIKE DOWN THE SHEPHERD, AND THE SHEEP OF THE FLOCK SHALL BE 7SCATTERED.'
"But after I have been raised, 8I will go ahead of you to Galilee."
But Peter said to Him, "Even though all may fall away because of You, I will never fall away."
Jesus said to him, "9Truly I say to you that 10this very night, before a rooster crows, you will deny Me three times."
Peter said to Him, "11Even if I have to die with You, I will not deny You." All the disciples said the same thing too.

The Garden of Gethsemane

12Then Jesus came with them to a place called 13Gethsemane, and said to His disciples, "Sit here while I go over there and pray."
And He took with Him 14Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be grieved and distressed.
Then He said to them, "15My soul is deeply grieved, to the point of death; remain here and 16keep watch with Me."
