When eveningcame, they brought to Him many1who were demon-possessed; and He cast out the spirits with a word, and 2healedall who were ill .
This was to fulfillwhat was spokenthroughIsaiah the prophet: "3HE HIMSELFTOOK OUR INFIRMITIES AND bCARRIEDAWAY OUR DISEASES."
18Now when Jesussaw a crowdaround Him, 4He gaveorders to depart to the otherside of the sea.
195Then a scribecame and said to Him, "Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go."
20Jesussaid to him, "The foxeshaveholes and the birds of the cair have dnests, but 6the Son of Manhasnowhere to lay His head."21Another of the disciplessaid to Him, "Lord, permit me first to go and bury my father."
But Jesussaid to him, "7Follow Me, and allow the dead to bury their owndead."238When He got into the boat, His disciplesfollowed Him.
And behold, there aroseea greatstorm on the sea, so that the boat was beingcovered with the waves; but Jesus Himself was asleep.
And they came to Him and woke Him, saying, "9Save us, Lord; we are perishing!"
