Then my enemy will see, And shame will cover her who 1said to me, "Where is the LORD your God?" My eyes will look on her; aAt that time she will bbe 2trampleddown Like mire of the streets.
It will be a day for 3building your walls. On that day will your boundary be extended.
It will be a day when cthey will 4come to you From Assyria and the cities of Egypt, From Egypt even to the dEuphrates, Even from sea to sea and mountain to mountain.
And the earth will become5desolatebecause of her inhabitants, On account of the 6fruit of their deeds.
147Shepherd Your people with Your 8scepter, The flock of Your epossession Which dwells by itself in the woodland, In the midst of fa fruitfulfield. Let them feed in 9Bashan and Gilead10As in the days of old.
"As in the days when you came out from the land of Egypt, I will showg11you miracles."
16Nations12will see and be ashamed Of all their might. They will 13put their hand on their mouth, Their ears will be deaf.
They will 14lick the dust like a serpent, Like 15reptiles of the earth. They will come16trembling out of their hfortresses; To the LORD our God they will come in 17dread And they will be afraidbefore You.
18Who is a Godlike You, who 18pardonsiniquity And passesover the rebelliousact of the 19remnant of His ipossession? He does not 20retain His angerforever, Because He 21delights in junchanginglove.
He will againhavecompassion on us; 22He will tread our iniquitiesunderfoot. Yes, You will 23castallktheir sins Into the depths of the sea.
You will givel24truth to Jacob And munchanginglove to Abraham, Which You 25swore to our forefathers From the days of old.
