12All your fortifications are 27figtrees with k28ripefruit - Whenshaken, they fall into the eater'smouth.
13Behold, your people are 29women in your midst ! The gates of your land are 30openedwide to your enemies ; Fireconsumes your gate bars.
1431Draw for yourself water for the siege ! 32Strengthen your fortifications ! Go into the clay and tread the mortar ! Takehold of the brickmold !
15There33fire will consume you, The sword will cut you down ; It will 34consume you as the locust does. Multiply yourself like the creepinglocust, Multiply yourself like the swarminglocust.

You have increased your 35tradersmorethan the stars of heaven - The creepinglocustlstrips and fliesaway.

Your m36guardsmen are like the swarminglocust. Your 37marshals are like hordes of grasshoppersSettling in the stone walls on a coldday. The sunrises and they flee, And the placewhere they are is not known.

Your shepherds are 38sleeping, O 39king of Assyria ; Your 40nobles are lyingdown. Your people are 41scattered on the mountains And there is noone to regather them.
19There is 42norelief for your breakdown, Your 43wound is incurable. All who hearnabout you Will 44clap their handsover you, For on whom has not your evilpassedcontinually ?
