But Aaron and his sons offered on the altar of burnt offering and on the altar of incense, for all the work of the most holy place, and to make atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.
to offer burnt offerings to the LORD on the altar of burnt offering continually morning and evening, even according to all that is written in the law of the LORD , which He commanded Israel.
Then the angel of the LORD commanded Gad to say to David, that David should go up and build an altar to the LORD on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
Then David said to Ornan, "Give me the site of this threshing floor, that I may build on it an altar to the LORD ; for the full price you shall give it to me, that the plague may be restrained from the people."
Then David built an altar to the LORD there and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. And he called to the LORD and He answered him with fire from heaven on the altar of burnt offering.
For the tabernacle of the LORD , which Moses had made in the wilderness, and the altar of burnt offering were in the high place at Gibeon at that time.
Then David said, "This is the house of the LORD God, and this is the altar of burnt offering for Israel."
and for the altar of incense refined gold by weight; and gold for the model of the chariot, even the cherubim that spread out their wings and covered the ark of the covenant of the LORD .
