And the tongue is a fire, the very world of iniquity; the tongue is set among our members as that which defiles the entire body, and sets on fire the course of our life, and is set on fire by hell.
Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom.
What is the source of quarrels and conflicts among you? Is not the source your pleasures that wage war in your members?
Is anyone among you suffering? Then he must pray. Is anyone cheerful? He is to sing praises.
Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord ;
