Jesus answered and said to him, "Because I said to you that I saw you under the fig tree, do you believe? You will see greater things than these."
"You are not greater than our father Jacob, are You, who gave us the well, and drank of it himself and his sons and his cattle?"
"For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself is doing; and the Father will show Him greater works than these, so that you will marvel.
"But the testimony which I have is greater than the testimony of John; for the works which the Father has given Me to accomplish -the very works that I do -testify about Me, that the Father has sent Me.
The sea began to be stirred up because a strong wind was blowing.
Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink.
"Surely You are not greater than our father Abraham, who died? The prophets died too; whom do You make Yourself out to be?"

Then the Jews, because it was the day of preparation, so that the bodies would not remain on the cross on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was a high day ), asked Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.
Simon Peter went up and drew the net to land, full of large fish, a hundred and fifty-three ; and although there were so many, the net was not torn.
