1Paul, 2a prisoner of 3Christ Jesus, and 4Timothy [a]our brother, To Philemon our beloved brother and 5fellow worker,
and to Apphia [b]6our sister, and to 7Archippus our 8fellow soldier, and to 9the church in your house:
10Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Philemon's Love and Faith

11I thank my God always, making mention of you in my prayers,
because I 12hear of your love and of the faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus and toward all the [c]saints;
and I pray that the fellowship of your faith may become effective [d]through the 13knowledge of every good thing which is in you [e]for Christ's sake.
For I have come to have much 14joy and comfort in your love, because the [f]hearts of the [g]saints have been 15refreshed through you, brother.
