22aBut if I am to live on in the flesh, this will mean 1fruitfullabor for me; and I do not knowbwhich to choose.
But I am hard-pressed from both directions, having the 2desire to depart and 3be with Christ, for that is verymuchbetter;
24yet to remain on in the flesh is morenecessary for your sake.
254Convinced of this, I know that I will remain and continue with you all for your progress and joycin the faith,
26so that your 5proudconfidence in me may abound in ChristJesusthrough my coming to you again.
27Onlyconduct yourselves in a manner6worthy of the 7gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you orremainabsent, I will hear of you that you are 8standingfirm in 9onespirit, with onedmind10strivingtogether for the faith of the gospel;
in nowayalarmed by your opponents-which is a 11sign of destruction for them, but of salvation for you, and that too, from God.
For to you 12it has been granted for Christ'ssake, not only to believe in Him, but also to 13suffer for His sake,
30experiencing the same14conflictwhich15you saw in me, and nowhear to be in me.
