Not that I have already1obtained it or have already2become perfect, but I press on aso that I may 3layhold of that bfor which also I 4was laidhold of by 5ChristJesus.
13Brethren, I do not regardmyself as having laidhold of it yet ; but onething I do: 6forgetting what lies behind and reachingforward to what lies ahead,
I 7press on toward the goal for the prize of the 8upwardcall of God in 9ChristJesus.
Let us therefore, as many as are c10perfect, havethisattitude ; and if in anything you have a 11differentattitude, 12God will reveal that also to you;
16however, let us keep d13living by that same standard to which we have attained.
17Brethren, 14join in following my example, and observethose who walkaccording to the 15pattern you have in us.
For 16manywalk, of whom I oftentold you, and nowtell you even17weeping, that they are enemies of 18the cross of Christ,
19whoseend is destruction, whosegod is their e19appetite, and whose 20glory is in their shame, who 21set their minds on earthlythings.
For 22our fcitizenship is in heaven, from whichalso we eagerly23wait for a Savior, the LordJesusChrist ;
21who will 24transformgthe body of our humblestate into 25conformity with hthe 26body of His glory, 27by the exertion of the power that He haseven to 28subjectallthings to Himself.
