Proverbs 3:5-12 (New American Standard)

5 1Trust in the LORD with all your heart And 2do not lean on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways 3acknowledge Him, And He will 4make your paths straight. 7 5Do not be wise in your own eyes ; 6Fear the LORD and turn away from evil. 8 It will be 7healing to your abody And 8refreshment to your bones. 9 9Honor the LORD from your wealth And from the 10first of all your produce ; 10 So your 11barns will be filled with plenty And your 12vats will overflow with new wine. 11 13My son, do not reject the bdiscipline of the LORD Or loathe His reproof, 12 For 14whom the LORD loves He reproves, Even 15as a father corrects the son in whom he delights.
