The 1words of a whisperer are like dainty morsels, And they go down into the ainnermost parts of the body.

Like an earthen 2vessel overlaid with silver 3dross Are burning lips and a wicked heart.

He who 4hates disguises it with his lips, But he lays up 5deceit in his bheart.
25
When che 6speaks graciously, do not believe him, For there are seven abominations in his heart.
26
Though his hatred 7covers itself with guile, His wickedness will be 8revealed before the assembly.
27
He who 9digs a pit will fall into it, And he who rolls a stone, it will come back on him.
28
A lying tongue hates dthose it crushes, And a 10flattering mouth works ruin.
