O LORD, in Your strength the king will 1be glad, And in Your asalvationhowgreatly he will rejoice !
You have 2given him his heart'sdesire, And You have not withheld the request of his lips. bSelah.
For You 3meet him with the blessings of goodthings ; You set a 4crown of finegold on his head.
He askedlife of You, You 5gave it to him, 6Length of daysforever and ever.
His 7glory is great through Your csalvation, 8Splendor and majesty You place upon him.
For You make him dmost9blessedforever ; You make him joyful10with gladness in Your presence.
For the king11trusts in the LORD, And through the lovingkindness of the MostHigh12he will not be shaken.
Your hand will 13find out all your enemies ; Your righthand will find out those who hate you.
You will make them 14as a fieryoven in the timeeof your anger ; The LORD will 15swallow them up in His wrath, And 16fire will devour them.
Their foffspring You will destroy from the earth, And their g17descendants from among the sons of men.
11Though they h18intendedevilagainst You And 19devised a plot, They will not succeed.
For You will 20make them turn their back ; You will iaim21with Your bowstrings at their faces.
Be exalted, O LORD, in Your strength ; We will 22sing and praise Your power.
