Confidence in God's Protection.

1 ¹Hear my cry, O God ; ²Give heed to my prayer. 2 From the ³end of the earth I call to You when my heart is ⁴faint ; Lead me to ⁵the rock that is higher than I. 3 For You have been a ⁶refuge for me, A ⁷tower of strength ^aagainst the enemy. 4 Let me ^b⁸dwell in Your tent forever ; Let me ⁹take refuge in the shelter of Your wings. ^cSelah. 5 For You have heard my ¹⁰vows, O God ; You have given me the inheritance of those who ¹¹fear Your name. 6 You will ^d¹²prolong the king's ^elife ; His years will be as many generations. 7 He will ^fabide ¹³before God forever ; Appoint ¹⁴lovingkindness and truth that they may preserve him. 8 So I will ¹⁵sing praise to Your name forever, That I may ¹⁶pay my vows day by day.
