1Hear my voice, O God, in 1my acomplaint; 2Preserve my life from dread of the enemy.
2Hide me from the 3secretcounsel of evildoers, From the tumult of 4those who doiniquity,
3Who5have sharpened their tongue like a sword. They 6aimedbitterspeech as their arrow,
To 7shootbfrom concealment at the blameless; Suddenly they shoot at him, and 8do not fear.
They choldfast to themselves an evilpurpose; They dtalk of 9layingsnaressecretly; They say, "10Who can see them?"
They edeviseinjustices, saying, "We are fready with a well-conceivedplot "; For the g11inwardthought and the heart of a man are hdeep.
But 12Godiwill shoot at them with an arrow; Suddenlyjthey will be wounded.
So kthey lwill 13make him stumble; 14Their own tongue is against them; All who see them will 15shake the head.
Then allmenmwill 16fear, And they nwill 17declare the work of God, And owill considerpwhat He has done.
The righteousman will be 18glad in the LORD and will 19takerefuge in Him; And all the upright in heart will glory.
