Praise for God's Mighty Deeds and for His Answer to Prayer.

1 1Shout joyfully to God, all the earth; 2 Sing the 2glory of His name; Make His 3praise glorious. 3 Say to God, "How 4awesome are Your works! Because of the greatness of Your power Your enemies will a5give feigned obedience to You. 4 "6All the earth will worship You, And will 7sing praises to You; They will sing praises to Your name." bSelah. 5 8Come and see the works of God, Who is 9awesome in His deeds toward the sons of men. 6 He 10turned the sea into dry land; They passed through 11the river on foot; There let us 12rejoice in Him! 7 He 13rules by His might forever; His 14eyes keep watch on the nations; Let not the rebellious 15exalt themselves. Selah. 8 Bless our God, O peoples, And c16sound His praise abroad, 9 Who d17keeps us in life And 18does not allow our feet to eslip. 10 For You have 19tried us, O God; You have 20refined us as silver is refined. 11 You 21brought us into the net; You laid an oppressive burden upon our loins. 12 You made men 22ride over our heads; We went through 23fire and through water, Yet You 24brought us out into a place of abundance. 13 I shall 25come into Your house with burnt offerings; I shall 26pay You my vows, 14 Which my lips uttered And my mouth spoke when I was 27in distress. 15 I shall 28offer to You burnt offerings of fat beasts, With the smoke of 29rams; I shall make an offering of fbulls with male goats. Selah. 16 30Come and hear, all who gfear God, And I will 31tell of what He has done for my soul. 17 I cried to Him with my mouth, And hHe was 32extolled with my tongue. 18 If I i33regard wickedness in my heart, The 34Lord jwill not khear; 19 But certainly 35God has heard; He has given heed to the voice of my prayer. 20 36Blessed be God, Who 37has not turned away my prayer Nor His lovingkindness from me.
